In the description of this audiovisual piece, Sergii comments:

‘Time passes, and now, a hundred years have passed, but people still look at the same places immortalised by Joaquín Sorolla in his paintings. Their gazes stop before the grandeur of nature, its infinite landscapes and enchanting views, where light, shadows and colours create a unique spectacle. It seems that so many years have passed, but the magic remains: the sea, as changing as ever, and the hills, firm and captured forever…’.

The Miramar Palace Park, ‘a film location between two beaches’, was the source of inspiration for Joaquín Sorolla to paint his work Breakwater. This is what Sergii Chebotarenko claims in a documentary in which he recreates the work of the Valencian painter, using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools.
