Teachers and students of the Erasmus+ O-CITY Project training programme of the Gandia Campus of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, visited Xeraco (Valencia) in order to obtain material for two multimedia projects to be carried out by the students.

The visit is part of one of the activities of the O-City Erasmus+ Project course.

The teachers Soledad Antonucci y Nacho Yusim visited Xeraco last Tuesday 2nd May, in order to obtain material for two multimedia projects to be carried out by the students Anna, from Germany, and Karolina, from Poland.

According to Sole and Nacho, teachers of the O-City Erasmus+ Project course, “in Xeraco we were welcomed by 3 councillors and invited to a meeting at the town hall. In the meeting with the students, we shared with Ubalda Balaguer Ferragud, Evaristo Salom Rubio y Amparo Barrios Vidal“.

“The Xeraco town councillors gave us information about the legend of the Venta de la Serp and the beach. Then, they took us to see the Espai Jove, the library, the Ermita del Santísimo Cristo de la Agonía and the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación, which was closed but which they opened for us”.

The objectives of the course are as follows:

  • To create two multimedia projects to participate in the orange economy.
  • To train participants in the use of multimedia elements as a means of documenting cultural and natural heritage.
  • To carry out a technical course during the face-to-face classes, and a course related to culture, business or soft-skills.
